Response to Medicaid cuts

I wrote Gov. Ferguson's speech and ran point on a press conference in Kennewick ahead of the Congressional vote gutting Medicaid. Shortly after, when the bill passed Congress, I wrote the breaking-news press release denouncing it.

Discussing impacts of tariffs

I wrote Gov. Ferguson's speech and ran point on a press conference at the Port of Seattle, where the governor announced a "friend of the court" brief in support of a multi-state legal challenge to President Trump's tariffs. Later, I wrote the press release about the brief filed to the Supreme Court.

Restoring ferry service

I wrote Gov. Ferguson's speech and ran point on a press conference announcing the plan to restore full domestic ferry service across Washington state.

Historic bill signing

I helped write Gov. Ferguson's remarks and took photos for his first bill signing in community. The governor signed a bill officially recognizing Eid holidays.

Week at Western State

I spent a week at Western State Hospital as the lead communications staffer on the ground for Gov. Ferguson. I ran point on a wrap-up press event and took photos of his meetings with leadership, patients and labor groups.
